Children Perceived Perception of a Mini-Humanoid Social Robot Based on a Psychometric Scale: A Pilotnges in the children’s perceptions after the session with the robot. This implies that direct interactions with a social robot helped in altering existing perceived attitudes toward social robots. Assessment tools, such as psychometric scales, are necessary to evaluate the acceptability of social robots.

The Sound of Actuators in Children with ASD, Beneficial or Disruptive?nation performance and focus of gaze in each condition. Preliminary results indicate that the sound of actuators might be beneficial for children with autism and only slightly disruptive for typically developing children.

Kinesthetic Teaching of?a?Robot over?Multiple Sessions: Impacts on?Speed and?Successsks. We also show improvements in the teaching speed over time. The results suggest that by gaining experience in kinesthetic teaching of domestic tasks to a robot over time, without any formal training or external intervention and feedback, non-experts can become more effective robot teachers.
