https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-15132-8 seems reasonable that higher plants should also contain molecules capable of antimutagenicity so as to survive the effects of their own metabolism. Carcinogens and Anticarcinogenser depends on a better understanding of some of the risk factors and antirisk factors for the major human cancers. In the longer term, the spectacular progress in molecular biology is in understanding some of the fundamental aspects of the nature of cancer which should contribute substantially to further intervention possibilities.
