Realistic low-latency mobile AR rendering,e, and communication bandwidth of the mobile platform. We developed an integral solution covering all these aspects, while still being manageable from the application’s point of view. In this paper we outline the global layout of our system, and discuss a demo application projecting a statue on the campus.

The projects presented include Fa?ade (1996), Rouen Revisited (1996), The Campanile Movie (1997), and Fiat Lux (1999).

Virtual Models from Video and Vice-Versa,ation. A flexible multi-view stereo matching scheme is used to obtain a dense estimation of the surface geometry. From the computed data virtual models can be constructed or, inversely, virtual models can be included in the original images.

Image Rectification for Reconstruction of Destroyed Buildings Using Single Views,hodology in-volves, firstly, radial lens distortion detection and removal (if present), sec-ondly, calculation of intrinsic camera parameters and principal point co-ordinates and finally the planar surfaces of the object are rectified using van-ishing points as detected in the image. A 3D-model construction can be added as well.
