A feature-based framework for transforming and representing multiple format CAD for virtual prototypre is a need to convert these old designs to the more intelligent feature format. In this paper we describe an integrated architecture of a feature-based framework capable of transforming between different design representations like wireframe, solid models, and feature-based models; making it an ideal virtual prototyping environment.
