Introduction to Asteroseismology of , Scuti Starsere I will discuss what we can learn about the Sun by studying . Scuti stars, as well as what we can learn about stars more massive or evolved than the Sun. I will discuss some of the difficulties in theoretical approaches to asteroseismology for 8 Scuti stars, using FG Virginis, . Scuti, and CD –24° 7599 (also known as XX Pyxidis) as examples.

Techniques of Collection, Reduction and Analysis of Data of Pulsating Stars IIospheres and coronas. A detailed description is then given on how to correct photometric data for atmospheric extinction. Through a description of a “blind” statistical approach to cluster surveys we will then underline how important information about pulsating variables resides in the class more than in the individual.
