Self-Organisation in Metabolic Pathways,te metabolites. In the second experiment (chart 2) we took the Boehringer Mannheim chart (1992) and included all the reactions involving a given substrate, not just those joined by explicit links, to obtain the class of node of a particular metabolite.

Ball Lightning as a Self-Organized Complexity,r contemporary Earth conditions the lifetime of such complexities is relatively short. A similar self-organization mechanism, produced by simple sparks in the earl Earth’s atmosphere (chemically reactive plasma) is suggested to explain the genesis of complexities able to evolve into prebiotic structures.
