Investigation of AC Losses in Horizontally Parallel HTS Tapes,This chapter presents an AC loss study of horizontally parallel HTS tapes. Using the geometry of horizontally parallel HTS tapes is a proper way to prevent high AC losses, due to the reduction of the perpendicular component of the magnetic field experienced by the tapes.
