Protective Measures for Balancing,otective devices are often designed and supplied by the balancing machine manufacturer or supplier, and at least dimensioned for Class D. However, it is the user‘s responsibility to ensure the safety of his equipment, e.g. to adapt the protective device of the balancing machine accordingly or have it adapted if the balancing task is changed.

Unbalance Correction,is used in some cases for single-plane balancing and for two-plane balancing..However, the much more common way is to shift the principle axis of inertia towards the shaft axis by removing, shifting or adding material.
