Robotic Embryo Characterization and Manipulation,ic blastocyst biopsy, a dynamic model taking into account cell mechanical properties is established to describe the motion of the cells inside a biopsy micropipette. An integral-based adaptive control method was developed for cell aspiration and positioning inside the biopsy micropipette.

Robotic Orientation Control of Linear-Shaped Sperm,and kinematic modeling, which takes the unfixed constraint between the micropipette and sperm tail into account. Controllers are also designed to handle the variances of tail stiffness, demonstrating the robustness to uncertainty and the optimization of the orientation error and manipulation path length.

Robotic Orientation Control of Spherical Oocytes,n control, with visual servoing to compensate for rotation-induced translation. Lastly, robotic oocyte rotation is implemented by using standard micropipette, with force model and optimal controller to achieve minimal oocyte deformation.

Future Perspectives of Robotic Manipulation of Reproductive Cells,d motion control in subcellular level need to be developed. Lastly, machine learning can help artificially increase microscope depth of field, predict labeled images from unlabeled images, and predict a super-resolution microscopy image from a conventional microscopy image, which all greatly enhance imaging capabilities.
