Venous Salvage Using Cephalic Vein/External Jugular Veinit. This chapter outlines a stepwise approach to dealing with this rare circumstance starting locally and progressing out of the standard bearers for free flap recipients. When all local options are depleted, the external jugular vein and cephalic vein offer a chance at flap salvage.
