Recent Advances in MR Contrast Mediaar sufficient for diagnosis or for the characterization of the nature and function of pathological processes. Today, small size molecules of gadolinium are widely used in a clinical setting and a large variety of contrasts can be obtained. New contrast agents are appearing with the goal of providing more specific information.
