Valorization of Lactic Acid and Derivatives to Acrylic Acid Derivatives: Review of Mechanistic Stude dehydration of lactic acid or alkyl lactates to acrylic acid is still challenging, and this approach needs further optimization. Catalytic Hydrodeoxygenation of Lignin Model Compounds,in we review recent work highlighting selective catalytic depolymerization of intact lignin into phenolic monomers.
