We considered two levels of QoS, i.e. the connection-level QoS, which describes the service connectivity and continuity under limited and varying wireless network conditions, and the application-level QoS, which measures the perceptual quality of a being-served connection by end users.

Wireless Networks with Adaptive Resource Management, applications, such as ATM, IP InteServ, and DiffServ. Motivated by the same concept, we investigate adaptive resource allocation for multimedia services in a wireless network environment. Both user mobility and multimedia traffic characteristics are taken into consideration in the development of the proposed adaptive scheme.
