Analysis of Eeg Signals and Their Spatial Correlation Over the Scalp Surface,terize the time evolution of the cortex activity. The dimension analysis of 8 channels suggests a uniform attractor over the surface with small but consistent differences in the correlation dimension. The analysis is greatly improved by eliminating the high degree of regularity for neighbouring points in the embedding space due to oversampling.

Kinematics of Wave Patterns in Excitable Media,upports undamped propagation of solitary pulses (in one dimension) or waves -such that the medium is found in the same state of rest before and after the wave has passed. Hence, in a two-dimensional medium (e.g. in a thin layer of the Belousov-Zhabotinskii solution) propagating waves might have a break.

Model for Spiral Wave Formation in Excitable Media,motion of a liquid-solid interface is determined by a free-boundary problem for a diffusion field (temperature, concentration of an impurity). This kind of problem is difficult to solve since it involves nonlinear integral equations.
