Cardiopulmonary Function Interactions during Noninvasive Mechanical Ventilation: Key Topics and Clin During noninvasive ventilation (NIV), significant cardiopulmonary interactions determine relevant pathophysiological effects. Preexisting cardiac or respiratory diseases affect the response of both systems during NIV.
