Future Prospected of Engineered Nanobiomaterials in Human Health Care,ven as substituents for parts of the human body (cyborgs). These biotechnological products became possible because nanomaterials with greater flexibility, electrical conductivity, biocompatibility, resilience, and extremely sensitive were developed. In this chapter some of these materials and their practical applications are presented.

Biomedical Applications of Lipid Membrane-Based Biosensing Devices,hnology-based transduction schemes. The compounds that can be monitored are urea, cholesterol, glucose, toxins, antibiotics, microorganisms, hormones, etc. Finally, limitations and future prospects are presented herein on the evaluation/validation and eventually commercialization of the proposed sensors.
