Validity Standards and Principles on Equity in Educational Testing and Assessmentice, and suggest possible additions or revisions of the principles. Current conceptions of validity as articulated by measurement theorists such as Cronbach (1988; 1989), Linn (1994), Linn, Baker & Dunbar (1991); Messick (1989; 1994; 1995), Moss (1994), and Shepard (1993) will provide the framework for reviewing the principles.

Improving the Equity and Validity of Assessment-based Information Systemsh 10% by the end of the century.
