Neutrino Mass Models with an Abelian Family Symmetry, the neutrinos are massive, the rather unnatural suppression of their masses relative to the quarks and charged leptons of the same family has to be explained. On the phenomenological side, massive neutrinos could solve in a natural way several astrophysical and cosmological problems.

Heavy-Quark Masses, our ability to understand heavy-flavour physics resides on the observation that heavy quarks are so heavy that their masses become irrelevant. Therefore, a better title for my lectures would have been: “Heavy-quark effective theory, and how to get rid of heavy-quark masses”.

Neutrino Mass,n 1975, M. Perl discovered a third charged lepton, the tauon.. Theoretical arguments and recoil observations suggest its connection with still another kind of neutrino, the tauon neutrino v. This third type of neutrino, due to lack of intensity, has not yet been directly observed.
