Long-Term Generation Maintenance Scheduling,hile the GENCO interacts with the ISO to meet the energy demand, reliability and other system requirements. Since we are dealing with independent entities in a restructured system, we apply Benders decomposition to include the ISO’s constraints in the long-term generation maintenance scheduling problem. Figure 3.1 depicts the solution methodology.
