Sign Language Recognition with Support Vector Machines and Hidden Conditional Random Fields: Going tions, is rather effective for this task. Again we provide comparison results against Artificial Neural Networks and Hidden Markov Models, reporting statistically significant results favoring our choice of classifiers; and we validate our findings using the chance-corrected Cohen’s Kappa statistic for contingency tables.

Unsupervised Tagging of Spanish Lyrics Dataset Using Clustering,uldin Index (DBI), intra similarity and inter similarity measures. At last, the final clusters were tagged using top words and association rules. Experiments show that music could be organized in related groups and tagged using unsupervised techniques as clustering with only lyrics information.

Preceding Rule Induction with Instance Reduction Methods,tasets, pruning the training set using ENN, AllKnn or the hybrid significantly reduces the number of rules generated by CN2, without adversely affecting the predictive performance. The hybrid achieves the highest average predictive accuracy.
