Lithium and Dermatological Disorders,This review covers two quite different aspects of the effects of lithium on the skin. First, there are many reports in the literature of the precipitation or exacerbation of dermatological disorders following oral administration of lithium for bipolar affective disorders. The review considers the evidence for these adverse effects.

The Effect of Lithium on Inositol Phosphate Metabolism,plausible case that this modulation underlies both the antimanic and antidepressant actions of lithium. This is extremely difficult and there is by no means a consensus on the most likely target. This chapter reviews the action of lithium on a target which fulfills the preceding criteria reasonably
