Thoughts on the Ductules of the Aging Human Lacrimal GlandAs we age, there is a progressive decrease in secretion of tears from the lacrimal gland. The treatment of resultant dry eyes has been directed at the use of artificial tears and/or closing the lacrimal puncta.
