Oscillatory Phenomena in a Porous, Fixed Charge Membrane,table tissues (nerve and heart) could be reproduced on these metallic systems, as all-or-non responses, threshold, bistability etc. The ‘energy’ driving the oscillations was obtained from electrochemical reactions.
