Molecular Regulation of Kidney Development,Here the main molecular mechanisms involved in kidney development in different animal species will be described. The majority of molecular data regarding nephrogenesis will be relative to the developing mouse kidney, which is currently the best-characterized model of renal organogenesis at a transcriptional level.
