Overview of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis,nary fibrosis (IPF) is a distinct subtype and one of the most common forms of ILD. It is a chronic fibrosing condition that is limited to the lungs, tends to be progressive in nature, and results in significant morbidity and mortality.
