Neutrino Mass Terms,The neutrino mass term is the central object of the theory of massive and mixed neutrinos. It determines neutrino masses, neutrino mixture and neutrino nature (Dirac and Majorana). The possibility of the existence of so-called sterile neutrinos is also determined by the neutrino mass term.

On absolute Values of Neutrino Masses,We have seen in the previous sections that neutrino oscillation experiments allow us to obtain the values only of the neutrino mass-squared differences. Information about the absolute value of the neutrino mass can be inferred from experiments which are based on the measurement of the neutrino mass via the kinematics of a decay.
