Kidney Function in Response to Various Modes of Mechanical Ventilation,In patients as well as in animals controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) is often associated with a deterioration of renal excretory function and hemodynamics. In addition, a positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) further aggravates these effects of mechanical ventilation.
