3D Geometry Recognition for a PMI-Based Mixed Reality Assistant System in Prototype Constructionnce points and characteristics, defined in a 3D CAD document. As part of the concept, this paper elaborates a module for the automated object recognition by means of computer vision, utilizing 3D CAD geometry and images as reference objects. The authors implemented and validated the module under laboratory conditions.
