Exploring Location and Ranking for Academic Venue Recommendation,erms of venue location and ranking. The target researcher and his community current preferences are taken into consideration. Experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed rating and recommendation method and show that it outperforms the baseline venue recommendations in terms of accuracy and ranking quality.

A Novel Restart Strategy for Solving Complex Multi-modal Optimization Problems Using Real-Coded Genstart strategy is proposed for solving complex multi-modal optimization problems using a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA). To show the superiority of the proposed scheme, ten complex multi-modal test functions have been selected from the CEC 2005 benchmark functions and its results are compared with that of the other strategies.

Evaluating SPL Quality with Metrics,ty and defined new metrics to deal with the inherent characteristics of SPLs, specifically the feature model and the traceability between features, design and code. Furthermore, to assist in interpreting the quality of a given SPL, we conducted an empirical study over ten open source SPLs to identify thresholds for the proposed metrics.
