Through the Looking Glass: The Conduct of Inquiry the Science planning of an inquiry is often seen as problem solving, whilst in geographical and historical terms, it is seen as researching. Geography and History emphasise higher order thinking, whilst Science also emphasises an understanding of the scientific method and data validity.
