Molecular Solids with Organic Conducting Chains and Inorganic Magnetic Chains: The (Per)nM(mnt)2Fami chains. For M=Co a compound with n=1 is obtained presenting two phase transitions at ?275K and ?182K. The nature of these transitions is discussed taking into account the instabilities of both one dimensional conducting and magnetic chains and their mutual interactions.
