Virtualisation of Customer Cards with 2D Codescal coding techniques, to provide its functionality through mobile devices. The usability and usefulness of the presented approach is evaluated in a test user study showing satisfaction acceptance levels for all typical usage scenarios.

Adopting Web 2.0 technologies on chain and independent hotel websites: A case study of hotels in Hontion of Web 2.0 technologies are also identified and discussed. A content analysis of hotel websites and interviews with the hotel managers identified the difference in adoption rate between chain and independent hotels. The discrepancy is mainly attributed to the top managements’ perceived benefit of Web 2.0.

Progress of attraction websites in Mainland China: From 2005 to 2010ting Internet technologies by attractions in China and the change of tourist needs were clearly revealed. Moreover, the comparison of website performance showed the progress of Chinese attractions websites. Implications of results and future research are discussed.
