A Notation for Sets, Sequences and Seriesa pilot study to inform the design of an experiment to evaluate the effect of the proposed notation on understanding. Secondary-school learners who had never been exposed to the sigma notation participated in the pilot study.

Introducing Programming and Digital Competence in Swedish K-9 Educationlemented by fall 2018 at the latest. We present the new K–9 curriculum and put it in a historical context. We also describe and analyze the process of developing the revised curriculum, and discuss some initiatives for how to implement the changes.

Baltic and Nordic K-12 Teacher Perspectives on Computational Thinking and Computingprogrammes will be needed, and we recommend that computational thinking and computing concepts be introduced into the core subject content of teacher education programmes in order to better prepare teachers to meet the educational demands of our increasingly digitalised society.
