Implementing Circulating Oil Lubrication Systems Based on the IMC-AESOP Architecture,on systems that rely on fieldbuses. High demand in quality and scalability is pushing for the use of SOA-oriented systems at all levels of large-scale process systems. This chapter focuses on how this approach affects this particular domain.

Building System of Systems with SOA Technology: A Smart House Use Case,tem, External house lightning system, External electrical outlet system, House energy control system. The SOA technologies used are CoAP and EXI using SenML to encode the services. Engineering tools have been used to simulate the usage scenario and provide prediction of system behaviour.

Their realisation brings new opportunities, as well as additional challenges.
