A Multiplicative Inequality for Concentration Functions of ,-Fold Convolutions of G?tze and Zaitsev (1998). We show that the estimation of concentration functions at arguments of bounded size can be reduced to the estimation of these functions at arguments of size.which is easier.

Strong Exponential Integrability of Martingales with Increments Bounded by a Sequence of Numberse exponent, which grows to infinity faster than a quadratic polynomial, is a Young function determined by that sequence. The related Orlicz norm of a martingale is estimated, some examples are discussed, and the optimality of the exponent is proven.

On Uniform Laws of Large Numbers for Smoothed Empirical Measuresvenko-Cantelli results in the non-smoothed case. Using the random measure process approach we are able to give a set of sufficient conditions for a ULLN which are different from the ones known in the literature and are more close to being necessary.

A Note on the Gaussian Correlation Conjectureence of small ball constants. We hope this sheds light on the conjecture and points out new directions for useful partial results. A simple proof for another useful correlation inequality needed in our argument is also presented.
