https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4419-8618-4ble orbits are spirals, described by a linear theory. In their vicinity there is an infinity of periodic orbits arranged along certain spirals. The asymptotic curves of doubly unstable orbits oscillate in a way different from that of unstable 2-D systems.

Averaging under Fast Quasiperiodic Forcingde to the splitting of the separatrices of a two-dimensional normally hyperbolic torus, including several aspects: formal approximation of the torus and their invariant manifolds, numerical computations of the splitting, a first order analysis using a Melnikov approach and the bifurcations of the set of homoclinic orbits.

On the Tendency Toward Ergodicity with Increasing Number of Degrees of Freedom in Hamiltonian System decreases strongly. Nevertheless, due to observed very long time correlated behavior, a conclusion of effective gross ergodicity cannot be confirmed, even though extremely long numerical runs were employed.
