Chemical Constituents and Applications of Gums, Resins, and Latexes of Plant Origin,ungal, anthelmintic, cytotoxic, and insect-repellent properties are all present in these compounds. Latex is a natural rubber source as well as a source of industrial enzymes like proteases. The present review provides an overview of different sources, compositions, properties, and applications of plant gums, resins, and latexes.
