Coastal Aquifer Vulnerability for Saltwater Intrusion: A Case Study of Chennai Coast Using GALDIT Moastal zone of Chennai comes under high to very high category. Coastal areas are coming under the very high saltwater ingress vulnerability zone. Hence, management strategies need to adopt for fresh groundwater sustainability by reducing the effect of saltwater.
