Mountains, Atmosphere and Long-Term Habitability,onnection between what is happening on the surface of a planet and the stability of this gaseous sea. We can infer this gaseous ocean’s composition from its geological activity and vice versa, allowing us to make testable predictions about the atmospheres of planets far removed from the Earth.
