The results of the analysis have showed a good agreement with the actual monitoring data and the areas of Hanoi City influenced by lowering groundwater for the bearing capacity of the pile have been established to assist the deep foundation design.

Influence of cyclic pile behaviour caused by surging and vibratory pile driving on the penetration rl dilation under monotonic pile movement in the .. It was found that the pile penetration resistance and bearing capacity were related to the soil deformation behaviour, namely contraction under cyclic pile movement and dilation under monotonic pile movement.
