Migration and Minorities in Europecomputing the quadrature weights. The hybrid Gauss approach does not have this overhead, which is determined by the complexity of the trimming curve. Hence, it is well-suited for moderate degrees, whereas discontinuous-weighted-quadrature has potential for high degrees, in particular, if the related weights are computed in parallel.

A Collocation IGA-BEM for 3D Potential Problems on Unbounded Domains, is introduced as a preliminary step and an efficient function-by-function assembly phase is adopted. A selection of numerical examples confirms that the numerical solutions reach the expected convergence orders.

Scattered Data Approximation by LR B-Spline Surfaces: A Study on Refinement Strategies for Efficiens is reasonably coherent for the different data sets and this paper concludes with some recommendations. An overall evaluation indicates that bi-quadratic LRB are preferable for the use cases tested, and that the strategies we denote as “full span" have the overall best performance.

A Block ILUT Smoother for Multipatch Geometries in Isogeometric Analysis,ndicates that the use of the block ILUT smoother improves the overall convergence rate of the resulting .-multigrid method. Numerical results, obtained for a variety of two dimensional benchmark problems, illustrate the potential of this block ILUT smoother for multipatch geometries.
