Dharwar Craton, and accretion, rifting, continent-continent collision, suturing and basaltic magma extrusion. Inner parts of this craton may have been rifting as late as in Gondwana period, challenging the wide held belief of cratonic instability.

Singhbhum and Bastar Cratons,terized by anomalous geophysical signatures, like high gravity bias and high heat flow. It also has an unusually thin (65–100 km) and warm lithosphere, as a result of shearing and degeneration by the buoyant hot mantle.

Aravalli and Bundelkhand Cratons,ing the Paleoproterozoic period, Bundelkhand cratonic micro-plate started subducting below the Mesoarchean Mewar terrain of the Aravalli craton; the collision between these two blocks was possibly responsible for the development of the Aravalli mountain ranges.
