The Janiform genetics of aging other face, the population genetics of aging has difficulties with mechanistic content, such that its theories and their tests are often put forward in a manner that resists biological interpretation. If we are to achieve a remotely satisfying scientific understanding of aging, we must bear both faces of the problem in mind.
