Ribonucleotide Reductase and Deoxyribonucleotide Poolsdes. The evidence for this is two-fold: (i) Homogeneous proteins prepared from bacterial and mammalian sources catalyze the four reactions with about equal efficiency and (ii) single step mutations in the enzyme affect reductions of all ribonucleotides.
