The bearing of the plane of nutrition on growth and endocrine developmentWe have been studying for some time the effect of varying the plane of nutrition on development and subsequent growth, and for this purpose we have used rats, pigs, and cockerels. The experiments are not complete, but results have been obtained which indicate that the endocrine system is involved in ways which are not yet understood.
