Esteban Gutiérrez-Sánchez-SalamancaThe dynamics and mechanisms of premixed hydrogen–air flames propagating in ducts have been studied in this thesis. The primary focus of this thesis has been to reveal flame behaviors, characteristics, and the physical origins dominating the flame evolution.

,Mechanisms of Flame Deformations in the Premixed Hydrogen–Air Flame Propagation,From above analysis, it is known that a premixed hydrogen–air flame in a duct can undergo a series of continuous shape changes, namely spherical flame, finger-shaped flame, flame with its skirt touching sidewalls, tulip flame, and distorted tulip flames.
