Adelio Rigo,Lilia Calabrese,Giuseppe Rotilio980 a new phenotype of atopic dermatitis appeared to us and was named adult-type atopic dermatitis. The mechanism and pathogenesis have been investigated extensively to define the real figure of this intractable skin disease.

Epidemiology of Atopic Dermatitis in Japancrease in prevalence strongly indicate that environmental factors play crucial roles in development of AD. Epigenetics might be key to understanding genetic-environmental interactions in this disease.
