Problems in the Teaching of Ethics: Pluralism and Indoctrinationc policy. If moral beliefs were confined merely to what people think, they would not impinge on the lives of society’s members in quite the same way. But it is precisely because cooperative or competitive activities are regulated by moral convictions that ethical pluralism gives rise to opposition to the teaching of ethics.
