The model reasonably reproduces the tidal currents but not the high and low frequency content. Other limitations of the model are discussed in light of the analysis of the current meter data.

The results indicate that the characterization of a tidal creek interface in terms of ATP, or similar parameters, requires the simultaneous measurement of both the component of interest and directional velocity.
