Assessing the Possibility of Using Adaptive Setpoint Temperatures in Buildings in Southern Spain to s chapter analyses the results of reducing the energy poverty of families by using an adaptive strategy: adaptive setpoint temperatures. Based on the model from EN 16,798–1:2019, Categories II and III were used to achieve that low-income families are not in energy poverty.

The results showed the suitability of using approaches combining the envelope and systems to obtain favourable results and reduce energy poverty.
